FACILITIES
Hot
showers, flush toilets, laundry areas,
sheltered cooking places.
Pitch
your own tent or rent one from us. Basic single and
double rooms are available. A 3-bed banda
(Traditional Masai house) with running water and
electricity is available at the camp, reservation for
the banda is recommended.
Have
a cold beer, soda, cocktail or fresh juice in the bar,
while listening to great music. A wide music
collection from all over the world livens up the bar
in the evenings.
Play
a game of pool, darts, volleyball or football with
fellow
travelers or local people. Masai camp is a
great place to meet people and make friends from all
over the world. Relax at the fireplace with a
Kilimanjaro lager and exchange travel experiences.
Out
of town, yet close enough to walk. Park your backpack,
truck, car, bicycle, motorbike… safe at the camp and
take a nice 15 minute walk into town, to visit the
local market,
or buy some crafts.

nearest Hospital, AAR-clinic, one of the best
in Arusha.

SAFETY
at MASAI CAMP
The
camp is fenced, properly secured by askaris
(watchmen) and a professional team of dogs are there
to protect you day and night. Feel 24 hours safe and
sleep like a rose at Masai Camp.
CAR
WORKSHOP
There
is a well equipped workshop where you can repair your
vehicle, or perform maintenance.
A team of fundis (mechanics) is present to assist and
advise you. African roads are bumpy!
